The new Marrakech collection from Prévu London is the very first to see womenswear modelled by Misse Beqiri girlfriend to Prévu London owner Jake Hall. I’m a personal fan of Misse’s wardrobe which features chic denim pieces, sharp tailoring, sleek mini dresses and statement accessories. The collection that has five exclusive styles that all follow the design handwriting on the Prévu brand using Marrakech as inspiration for loosely relaxed blazers, wide legged cotton pants and jacquard style Ivory and striped skirt.
i haven’t done a red… pink carpet review in yonkssss however i was blow away by many looks at this years event. The dress code was camp and A LOT of people got this wrong…Andrew Bolton, curator of the Costume Institute, has framed the exhibition around Susan Sontag’s seminal 1964 essay Notes on "Camp", which posited different ways in which the concept could be construed. Bolton told Hamish Bowles that he found Sontag’s writings so timely with what is going on culturally and politically that, “[he] felt it would have a lot of cultural resonance.” A few mentioned below but I literally am showcasing the looks that I like!
Rachel Brosnahan wearing Erdem
If your a fan of Erdem Moralıoğlu you may have recognised this dress from his look autumn/winter 2019 collection (yes look 19!!).
The original look drew inspiration from Italian Princess, Donna Orietta Doria-Pamphilj-Landi, for Rachel Bronsnahans camps look Erdem reworked this design using organza and adding attitude with a frilly tiered ball gown silhouette and 7ft train.
Elizabeth Debicki wearing Salvatore Ferragamo
Trust Salvatore Ferragamos Paul Andrew to bring romance to the Met Gala! This voluminous bow is everything teamed with white satin 1950’s pageant style gloves. I’m not a fan of the two tone leather boots, however it adds to the campness of the look opposed to more delicate heeled sandal which would probably of been paired with this look under another circumstance.
Florence Welch wearing Gucci
Statement shoulders was a big trend on this years pink carpet and Florence’s cape did not disappoint. I’m a big fan of layers and structure and this cape designed bu Gucci’s Alessandro Michele delivered for me! This Magical medieval-inspired turquoise and lilac beaded cape was perfectly matched with a sheer lace dress embellished with delicate jewels. BEAUTIFUL!
Julia Garner wearing Zac Posen
Can we take a second to really appreciate Zac Posen and his fantastic draping skills. Movement belongs to him and he manages to create beautiful dress that are not just 2d, not just pretty from one angle but are well thought through and really are true pieces of art! Julia wore this stunning 3D-printed vine headpiece that included leaf and berry embellishments. It was printed as a single piece with brass plating, and took over 22 hours!
Hailey Bieber wearing Alexander Wang
Wang does no wrong! I love this cute gown which highlights Hailey’s cheeky side. Who know a G-sting backless dress could be so cute?! This high neck pastel pink sequin design screams millennial camp, finished off with Bvlgari diamond earrings and a classic black bow with perfect pony tail.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen wearing vintage Chanel
Two looks not loved by many however the Olsen twins truly know fashion and always commit to styles that are technically interesting opposed to the latest trends. Yes i am a fan of The Row! I must say these are not looks I would or could wear however I have a huge appreciation for the girls pulling off this look in such a glamours and dare I say elegant way. I’m not a fan of the yellow satin lining however the pleating, cinched waists and controlled draping all incorporated into long-length leather dresses really screams camp in a whole different way!
Naomi Campbell wearing Valentino Haute Couture
Naomi Campbell walked the pink carpet alongside Valentinos Pier Paolo Piccioli. This is such a fun look, I’m in love with the pink lace tights, side slit dress and vintage diamond and gemstone bracelets by Bulgari. But not only did Naomi bring camp to the met gala with this outfit she camp with her attitude bringing her assistant onto the pink carpet with the sole job to fan her and her feathers. Now that’s camp!
Irina Shayk wearing Burberry
Velvet dreams!!! So many velvet dresses have been made over the years, some beautiful other not so much! This gorgeous number including matching gloves has me going crazy, the rich blue, full sleeves, deep v neckline with art deco esque jewel to finish really makes me go wow. Understated camp which is so glam!
I love this quick look for a afternoon out with the girls. Check blazer cinched in at the waist with a belt, black leggings tucked into heeled ankle boots and my good old faithful barrel bag! This look is so easy to transition from day to night, loose the belt and open/or loose the jumper to reveal a black silk vest underneath, accessorised with statement jewellery.
Shop the look at Reiss
It’s Christmas and I am spending the festive season at home in Dorset with family. With no signs of snow and a breeze that isn’t too bitter this Christmas has turned out to be rather delightful!
So when it comes to country or seaside walks (on the path, as it would be my Dubarrys and a pair of jeans with a chunky knit) with the possibility of stopping for a afternoon tea or a quick coffee, the question always is what to wear!
This winter I have opted for lots of effortless outfits that are transitional from outdoors to indoors. Jumper dresses have always been a big part of my wardrobe and this season I have enjoyed teaming them with cute ankle boots or slender knee length boots (with a heel of course!). Depending on the weather I usually finish the look with a lightweight trench or heavy aviator along with my daily rings and a statement earring. Pretty easy!

Wow we have been blessed with such a beautiful summer this year! Despite Britain normally not having a actual summer I actually have a larger spring summer wardrobe than rather than winter.
Anyway there are quite a few trends I have been enjoying so I will try and get them up onto my blog or insta, however, this one is about lemons... Well more yellow but with a shout out to lemons lol
This summer I have been loving yellow and sporting at any occasion I can. Bridal showers, weddings, visits to the park you name it. Usually, I gravitate towards block colours when shopping for clothing however last month at two weddings opted for print. && yes, one was floor length a yellow maxi with a floral design.
Despite wearing block yellows and yellow with prints I have to comfess my love for the lemon print. Kinda kitsch I know but I love it!
Despite loving the insanely hot weather we are having in London I really enjoy those cool late nights and wrapping up in a luxe jumper outside in the garden. Or in the flat with friends whilst drinking wine and annoying the neighbours with screaming and fits of laughter. So my knit drawers are still in use this summer and I have recently acquired this light cream number from zara which I'm soo in love with.
